FlyQuest announced their presence in the tactical first-person shooter space and that they are supporters of women in esports when they signed the old CLG Red VALORANT and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive rosters. On Thursday, CLG Red became FlyQuest Red, as the org signed VALORANT players Mirna "athxna" Noureldin, Karnthida "dodonut" Chaisrakeo, Han "it not han" Nguyen, Emily "mle" Peters and emluo, and CS:GO players Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie, Kelsie "uhKelsie" Click, Vivienne "BiBiAhn" Quach, Coline "Kaoday" Le Floc'h and Marissa "madss" Dasta.

When the esports organization Counter Logic Gaming merged with NRG earlier this year, it meant an uncertain future for the org's CLG Red rosters. For many years, CLG had established themselves as the preeminent supporters of women in esports through the CLG Red brand, and now FlyQuest have taken up that mantle.

The esports organization owned by the same family that owns the NHL's Florida Panthers had previously only had teams in League of Legends and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

CLG Red's VALORANT team has been among the top teams in the VALORANT Game Changers series of tournaments for women and marginalized genders over the past couple years. The team finished second in the North American Game Changers Series 1 and Series 2 in 2021 and fourth in Series 1 in 2022. During Series 1 of 2023, the former CLG Red roster competed under the Moist Moguls brand and finished fourth. FlyQuest Red will likely make their debut during the Game Changers Series 2 open qualifiers that will take place in July.

CLG Red were always among the best women's CS:GO teams since entering the scene in 2015. Last June, the team finished top four in the finals of the inaugural season of the ESL Impact League which took place at Dreamhack Dallas. FlyQuest Red are set to make their debut at Dreamhack Dallas, with the ESL Impact League Season 3 finals taking place there this weekend (June 2-4).
